After Roma Classica and lunch we walked to the Borghese Gallery just outside the city walls. We were told that Cardinal Scipione Borghese amassed this collection in part by stealing works of art with the approval of his uncle Pope Paul. In the 19th century Napoleon continued the practice and several works from here are now in The Louvre. I took photos of so many works that I put them in their own album.
